A Wonderful Family Holiday at Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket
We recently stayed at Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket for a family holiday with friends and had a lovely time overall. While the hotel was undergoing renovations during our visit, which caused a bit of dust and wasn’t mentioned on the website, the reception team was incredibly kind and accommodating. They upgraded our room and moved us further from the construction, which made a huge difference. Plus, the view from our room was absolutely spectacular!
The breakfast buffet was amazing, with a wide variety of options to suit everyone’s taste. The hotel’s location is very convenient, and the live music at night was such a delightful bonus.
One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic kids’ club, offering activities like cooking classes and Thai boxing, which kept the little ones entertained. Meanwhile, parents can relax and enjoy the hotel’s incredible spa—it was a win-win for the whole family!
In general, this is a beautiful hotel with plenty of activities to enjoy. You can even feed the fishes, which was a unique and fun experience. Despite the minor inconvenience of the renovations, we highly recommend Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket for families looking for a memorable getaway.

Beautiful property, beachfront resort that keep up to the 5 stars level. Staffs were helpful, knowledgeable and experienced. Even though it is a 30+ yrs old resorts, the maintenance was excellent. Extremely happy with our stay. Highly recommended. Our room was facing the beach and we had the most beautiful sunset view here.

Biggest mistake I ever made was to decide to stay at this resort. They have renovations happening all over. The place is super dusty, dirty, the decorative cusions on the bed had blood smeared on it, the complimentary fruits they provided were rotten, the whole room was dusty, the hangers, light switches had a layer of dust coating, the bath tub plug didn’t work, the tap water was thick and had stones coming out every few minutes - need I say more?
The breakfast was decent - the only good thing about my stay. Also all restaurants in the resort closes by 10. You can’t order room service after 10:30pm.
To top it all off, their door locks aren’t the best - i got locked out of my room an hour before I was supposed to leave for my flight. Worse stay ever, would not recommend. At least not for their extremely high price point for their shitty room.

Brilliant place, excellent courtesy. The India part of the breakfast is not good - specially the uncooked medi-wada.
The restaurants are great, the family mart close by really helps
