Embankment damage impacts routes between Tamworth and Nuneaton

- Related Information: During a routine overnight inspection on Tuesday 3 December, embankment damage was found between Polesworth and Atherstone. Network Rail engineers are on site carrying out all necessary repairs.One of the two southbound lines is closed. This means trains from Crewe towards London Euston will not call at Atherstone (in this direction only).Disruption is expected to continue until further notice.
